New Year's Resolution - losing weight

Hello everyone! : )

I know, I am a bit late for my New Year's resolution as it is nearly February.

This year I would like to lose some weight. About 5 years ago I was approximately 25 kg lighter than I am now.

I gained weight because ...

• I ate a lot of unhealthy stuff, such as chocolate and tons of junk food
• I stopped doing sports
• I seem to be always stressed
• I lost my daily rythm

Now I would like to change this all. 

I will document my meals - not counting calories. I will write down what I eat and drink (I have to mention that I do not drink enough water every day).

I will do more sports and get fit again.

I will be more organised so I can (try) to avoid stressful situations.

I would like it to be a permanent weight loss. I want to do it slowly but effectively.

What do you think about these changes?

Selfmade Birthday Card

A Selfmade Birthday Card.

Yesterday I was *again* procastinating and instead of studying for my two exams tomorrow I decided to make a birthday card.
In order to make this card I used masking tape in many different colors and patterns, letter-stamps, a black ink pad, thick white paper and white thread.

It was really easy to do - I finished it in about 10 to 15 minutes.

Try it out yourself - the birthday child will be very happy about it!

Heart Origami Bookmarks

 Hey everyone! : )

Today, I was *surprise surprise* procrastinating. Instead of studying I decided to make some bookmarks - heart-shaped Origami bookmarks!

I bought the colourfull Origami paper in a Japanese shop in my hometown. It was pretty pricey - about 20 sheets (15x15 cm) for 17 Euros I believe.

Glitter Nail Lacquer by American Apparel

f.l.t.r.: Light Year, Meteor Shower, Supernova (all by American Apparel)

I love glitter nail polish / varnish / lacquer / ... - call it however you like!
They have a great staying power - I usually wear glitter nail polishes up to 10 days in a row, because you do not see them chipping!!

In my mind, American Apparel makes the best selection of glitter nail polish!

At AA they are called "Glitter Nail Lacquer". If you have an AA nearby where you live, check them out by the next favourable occasion.

The "shades" I have are:

Supernova
This is probably my most favourite shade in the range. I simply adore the multicoloured circles in different sizes. In my mind it can be worn with every outfit. As I love to be dressed in black from tip to toe they give every outfit some colour!

Light Year
On a night out I often go for this shade. The holographic silver round flakes look good with everything!

Meteor Shower
Like the other two polishes, Meteor Shower has a clear base. It is full of gold foil shards of all different sizes and shapes.
I like wearing this glitter on my ring finger as an understated elegance, when I take the time to make a classic french manicure.

Who I am?
I am an 22-year-old student of Geography living in Vienna, Austria. 

Why am I blogging?
I enjoy reading blogs and thought "Why not starting a blog myself?!"! And - this might sound strange: This is a good way to improve my English. (Please always correct me if you see any mistakes (grammar, typos,...).)
